The sealing performance of the Class 600 Triple Offset Butterfly Valve is the ability of the valve's sealing components to prevent media leakage. This is the most important technical performance indicator of the valve. The valve has three sealing portions: the contact between the opening and closing portion and the two sealing faces of the valve seat; the fit between the packing and the valve stem and the stuffing box; and the connection between the valve body and the cover.
